I originally was going to learn sfm, but ultimately decided on 2d because I wouldn't be limited to anything beside my imagination. I do love me some sfm though.

I feel you made the right choice but to each their own. If I had to choose, I’d rather be drawing.

That is to say, there’s nothing stopping you from learning both.
