Well the time has finally come. Finally time to call it quits…for now….maybe forever. It’s been a good run and I am happy with where I ended last month with the animations that I put out. I think I did some of the best work I have ever done. I’m writing this the night before leaving.
First off, to those of you who were hoping to get finished products this month I am truly and deeply sorry. I just didn’t have the time to sit down and work on things this month like I wanted. It’s a big ask when you are uprooting your life to move thousands of miles away to another country. I have a laptop and I have taken the save files with me so that when and If I get back up and running I can jump right back in and work on things. I really did want to finish them but I hope you can understand my prioritizing more important stuff.
Again I am truly and deeply sorry that I did not finish but life is always good at getting in the way and that shit takes priority especially with big life changes.
Second, id like to thank some people from the community. I know for most of the SFMLab chat I have basically dropped off the face of the Earth but that was probably for the best.
@ganonking@digitalero for running things like SFMLab and Smutbase out of the goodness of his heart. Without this man none of the shit you see posted basically ANYWHERE on tumblr would be nearly as accessible. Also for streaming a shitload of stuff and being just all around a good dude.
@valnoressa for streaming a lot of good shit back in the days of the original SFMLab chat, it actually got me through quite a rough patch when I was out of work for a while so thanks for that.
@aardvarkianparadise for continually putting out models. Seriously nobody puts out nearly as many models as he does. Like him or hate him he does the work and puts it out for everybody to use. I appreciate all the work you do on models since I use them so frequently so thanks a lot.
@thatsfmnoob for making and continuing to make good models and for always being down to shoot the shit, it’s appreciated.

If you are thinking about getting into making SFM stuff just do it. Seriously just do it. Just don’t make a Patreon after goofing around in SFM for 10 minutes. Do it as a hobby first, grow your skills then see if that’s the right thing for you to do.

Detailed Explanation - I used patreon to give money to people who'se work I liked. Due to some technical issues my account was suspended, and seeing that I managed to pay everyone their money by that time (except one dude who blocked me, sorry about that.) I decided not to contact patreon support and let my account stay suspended/banned, as I was thinking of leaving patreon anyway, and didn’t want to bother tech support just to delete my account later on my own. (so it’s probably all my fault) about 2-3 days ago, I woke up with over 800 emails telling me people Ive supported were refunded and that my patreon account was deleted. I am fine with my account being deleted, however I did not ask for refunds, and though I only skimmed it once, I’m pretty sure if I’ve seen something so drastic in the user agreement I would have remmembered.
I’m not exactly sure what the pattern is,but many creators were refunded for multiple months, and some creators who I didn’t support for over a year and even a few who deleted their accounts long ago.
I have contacted patreon support but worry that due to me being banned the email might not get through. If you are on the list, please check your account balance and if need be contact patreon support about this, especially since if those refunds do come through I will not get the money as it will all be transfered to single-use cards I’ve thrown in the trash many months ago, and all that money will be lost forever.
I am making this post in the hopes that it will reach the people involved quicker than individually contacting each person, and because I really don’t know what to do.
In the meantime, and in case this issue isn’t resolved, I would love any of the following people to contact me so that I may attempt to resolve the issue to the best of my ability.
